Travel note: Silent Day or Nyepi Day, 26 th March 2009

This year, the Balinese Caka New Year will be celebrated on Thursday, 26th March 2009. We would like to inform you that the hotel activities will run as usual and limited to the hotel area only. Sounds and lights are restricted within the hotel vicinity. In regards to this celebration, it is strictly prohibited for people in Bali to conduct following activities:
No light may be lit
No work may be done
No travel may be carried out, and
No amusement may be made
Therefore, we would appreciate your co-operation and understanding to minimize the use of light in your room and stay within the hotel area on the Nyepi Day.
On the Nyepi Day, our “Ma Joly Restaurant” will be open from 07.00 AM until 20.00 PM only. Breakfast will be served normally and we will serve lunch and dinner by A la carte. Room service is also available for your convenience until 23.00 PM.
Our Spa operation is remaining unchanged from 09.00 AM – 21.00 PM and the Laundry service is also available for 24 hours.
