The recent unveiling of six exclusive new Ayung River Pool Villas and other unique facilities marks the completion of an outstanding transformation that has taken several years to achieve.
The resort embraces a contemporary style with subtle Balinese touches that is evident both architecturally as well as in the distinct décor of each villa category. The six new Ayung River Pool Villas have been meticulously crafted to harmonise with the surrounding environment and are blessed with inspiring views over the Ayung River and surrounding rice terraces. Designed as an inviting retreat to replenish the senses, each villa features an aesthetically appealing combination of red wood interiors with elegant furnishings and earthy coloured textiles. Start from April 2009, Kupu Kupu Barong is also delighted to offer guests complimentary wireless internet connections in the privacy of their villa. Another facility designed for optimal comfort is a new water heating system that guarantees a pleasant temperature of 29°C in each private plunge pool. Now guests can enjoy the luxury of bathing all year round even during the cool and rainy seasons without catching a chill.
“We listened carefully to feedback from our guests and relied on valuable advice from professionals within the hospitality industry to ascertain the best way to deliver an unforgettable lifestyle experience in Bali. Besides having wireless internet broadband access in each villa, Kupu Kupu Barong has also taken a huge leap forward in environmentally friendly sustainability. The water heating technology used in each private plunge pool is actually an energy saving solar system.
Gregory Lentini adds, “We have chosen the solar energy system out of consideration for the environment and making a conscious effort to preserve Bali’s energy resources. By using solar systems throughout the resort, we are no longer contributing to the output of harmful gas emissions and we are able to provide heated plunge pool facilities in each villa without harming nature.”
